Booking com: Per Person Rates
This instruction explains how to setup Beds24 to be able to update per person pricing at Booking.com
- Creating per person rates for Booking.com requires setting up your Beds24 rates in a particular way to make this possible.
- Booking.com use per room pricing but each Booking.com rate id can specify the maximum number of guests it is valid for.
- Beds24 extra person prices can not be used for channel management.
The following example assumes you want to offer 2 person, 3 person and 4 person pricing at Booking.com. The same principle applies for any other combination, adjust the number of rates to suit your requirements.
If not already done, ask Booking.com to setup 3 rate ids in their system, one for each of the occupancy options.
You will need to create three matching rates in Beds24, if you have seasonal pricing you will need to create the three rates for each season in Beds24.
- In the beds24 2 person rate, enter the 2 person price as the room price and set the room capacity to 2.
- In the beds24 3 person rate, enter the 3 person price as the room price and set the room capacity to 3.
- In the beds24 4 person rate, enter the 4 person price as the room price and set the room capacity to 4.
Identify the Booking.com rate id for each option and enter it into the matching Beds24 rate in the field next to the Booking.com check box on the rates CHANNELS tab.
If you have entered your standard rate code into the channel manager settings you do not need to enter it into the matching Beds24 standard rate.
If your Booking.com rates allow a single occupancy price, this can be entered as the single price in the Beds24 rate mapped as the standard rate.
